We, as God’s people, have always been known for generosity, and over time, the way we give has simply changed. In the Old Testament, worshipers brought offerings such as goats, sheep, calves, and grain. Today, giving financially is a simpler and cleaner expression of worship, and it aligns with the truth that Jesus has already made the ultimate sacrifice. As the ways we handle and exchange money continue to evolve, First Trinity Chapel of Leesburg is offering our members an additional way to present their financial gifts to God.
If you would like to give online, you are warmly invited to do so through this website. The process is safe and secure, and it allows you to give directly from a bank checking account or a debit card. You can make a one-time gift or set up recurring giving, and you may designate your gift to the church’s general fund or to a specific ministry. NOTE: Pastor D. Franklin Reaves does not take a salary.
First Trinity Chapel of Leesburg will continue receiving an offering during service for those who prefer to give by cash or check. For those who would rather give electronically, online giving through the church website is available as a convenient option.
Giving is an important part of our Christian life. After all, Luke records that Jesus himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35) At First Trinity Chapel, we encourage every member to pray about giving and to give as God has blessed you.
